What is mainstream media by the way? Is it how other wants the society to perceive mainstream, or does it represent the peoples opinion of mainstream? Can current and big media owners be trusted to have considered the facts before they publish and influence mainstream?

The world has changed and mass-produced media is overflowing our society with stupefying information. Media is shifting to free sosial media or so called friend-news. Myself-tube services and other video streaming systems together with selfies, also represent an addiction to stupidity. Cloaked under the impression that sosial media can be used in positive ways, to create grassroots movements and profits, it seems more likely to be a tool for those who think they have control or are starting to lose control.

Only some additions in this ocean of information and news, might be facts and knowledge. Mainstream media is presenting news in a new way, where the massive amount of digital news seems to represent a measurement our society’s health, or the lack of it. Some of the really good things represented in sosial media or other media channels online, are now totally degraded by surveillance on a hundred times higher level than Gestapo was capable of during their reign. This is disturbing!

We are now living in a world where what you think can be predicted, based on what you do on sosial media and internet channels. The danger is when the predictions are invalid, and control is implemented.

We all know from George Orwell’s 1984; “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past“, and the truth this implies. It means that we must be aware, so that history is never forgotten and facts are recorded, written and stored. The representation of present time, known as the truth, are already being twisted and bent by monetary means in a dynamically altered digital media. Digital media is still uncontrolled, but copied, sold, replicated and rectified in a massive digital channel called the internet. This happens at a rate so fast, that what you believe as truth, it is only a distortion of the massive wall of media influencing and surrounding you.

We need to get a new pulse from the media. Heartbeats and Hard facts!
